Could I get some help? I got impaled by a frog and I don't have any previous saves. It's not even letting me restart completely, what should I do? (Im not on mobile)
To be clear the main restart button is not working for you?
The one located up at the top left of the UI directly to the right of the save. On the next update I can include a restart in the Journal if that section is easier to reach.
I've been playing the game its good but the glowing on the "underswap" word its kinda of anoying. Anoying wouldnt be the right word its just .. you know its always glowing so it kinda starts hurting my eyes after a while
I am working on an eye-sensitive third theme right now. I do not know yet if it will be ready when I update this weekend, but it is in in the works. :) The theme will remove all glowy effects and cycles / links will instead be underlined or bolded.
oh dip, another new twine game for more code practice, huh? god, i can only wish for your terrifying motivation, darkpetal... nevertheless!!! i'm a bit sad i won't be able to check this out for a bit considering my work schedule, but still, thanks for all these gems in the UT fandom. you're a doll and with every game you come out with, i'm starting to get real tempted to get my ass in gear and finally write down my own UT au twine game for my own practice haha.

I'm writing this before actually playing it, and I've been wondering... What sort of feedback you might be looking for in your works? For example... If you want to hear about regarding the way the story is progressing, how the setting is presented, or any feedback regarding tone or pacing, or continuity (usually called high-level feedback)... Or if you would prefer mostly comments on scripting bugs (low level).
I realize you are most probably doing these both for fun and so you can develop your skills... Also, it's for the price of 0 for everyone, so I don't want to be overly critic of something someone might be doing as a way to relax and to share fun stories with others.
You see... One of my oldest high-school friends (still my friend to this day in fact) became my friend exactly because he was the one person willing to lay it on thick and seriously criticize some art pieces I did as a hobby back then. He's a writer nowadays haha. It was honestly what I wanted, receiving just praise becomes jarring after awhile and uh... It's like... You can't trust what people say? Like they are on repeat? Or just saying stuff to please you? It's weird. So yeah, I'm wondering where exactly you stand. I would be very happy in offering the same constructive honesty I received back then, if that's something you are looking for.
Otherwise, I'm more than happy to let a hobby just be your way to wind down haha! Just having fun with it is fine too, no judgments. We all need a place to just be ourselves and be free for a little while.

Yes, the fandom keeps me alive. It’s hard not to get inspired when every day I see someone else posting about something new or funny.
Re feedback - While I do this for fun, I do also want to improve. If there is something within my ability to change, then I want to. If you feel comfortable providing that level of feed back I would more than welcome it.
The only critiques I don’t want are suggestions of different choices that would lead to routes I don’t have planned. I want to complete my outline / main story first before I go and add branches.
Yeah, I understand that on a spiritual level. As I mentioned, I make some art stuff so, I totally understand how people trying to make your change course on something you are working on can be a little stressful/take some of the fun out of it... Especially when you are doing a specific piece for yourself just to try an idea or to relax. It's not even a commission or anything, in which case it would be completely fine. I mean, they are paying for it so they should get what they want, and I'm no clairvoyant haha. I'll do my best to be a good critic while letting you do your thing. It'll be an exercise for me too!
Well then, I'll be back eventually with my thoughts. As anything in life, take them with a grain of salt. Thanks for the reply once again!
This game seems great! However, I can't play it properly as there is no way to scroll down (I use a laptop and don't own a mouse so I use the arrow keys or the scrollbar to scroll), this isn't a problem in any of your other games so I don't know why it's a problem in this one. Just thought you should know so that it, hopefully, can be fixed.
you can, in the blue frame that everything is in on the right side use the curser on the tiny scrolbar. you cant realy se it so use the touchpad on your laptop to scrol with your curser. sorry if my explination is bad. hope you understand.

yeah, I don’t see a restart or save at all.
Restart & Save links are in the Journal link at the bottom of the screen. If the top UI doesn't work for you, those should do the trick. :)

the tiny white line on the right, drag up and down on that you should se it if you look hard!
Thanks for the help! I couldn't see the scrollbar at first but I saw it when I changed the theme.
New update changed the scroll bar color to orange in the default theme so hopefully that will help!
