i have bravery soul trait, trying to pull papyrus with me, but when i attempt to do the you look around to spot the voice it just shows <3 BRAVERY TRAIT instead.......... help?
yes i know but there isn't "You look around and try to spot the source" action there's only the words BRAVERY TRAIT and i need personality choice guide blud!!!!!!!!!!
Er. I tore up the notes and got the option now but both walkthroughs explicitly say not to do that so I guess I'll see how I go.
EDIT: Turns out I accidentally activated the Papyrus flags, I guess.
EDIT 2: NOW I'm stuck at "You go down the stone steps." Itch won't let me put an image here but the box is tiny and all I can see is the box, those words, and the back arrow.
EDIT 3: I restarted the game from the beginning trying to limit how much I loaded saves or pressed the back button and didn't get stuck this time. I got stuck at the "grim reaper" monster instead, the exact same way as I did at the steps, and couldn't follow the walkthrough for that part, so hopefully that's not...too important? I saved around that spot so it should be fine to try again later. I should add, I got this same problem in the Horrortale and Slumbertale IFs. But not once did I get it in the one for Underfell, and I haven't tried Mafiafell yet. Also, I'm using Firefox, and I tried switching to Chrome for a second but the problem still happened - so it's not likely to be a browser issue.

Underswap never had been my favorite au, I often would just go past it, but your IFs are my actual favorite passtime to read, so I gave it a try.
And boy I'm so glad I did! I usually go W.D route first, always, but this time I decided to give Papyrus one a shoot, just to be graced with the wingdings message all along the way in a smooth reminder I'd have to replay for my favorite skely boy.
Paps route is super fun, super chill, I crave more of this cozy feelings in any future extra/bonus scenes you may add!
But W.D route? Woah. Just woah. You got me feral here, my sweet protective crazy scientist, how much I adore how you write him, underfell him is amazing, mafiafell my favorite, but this one? Such a sweet surprise, all his scenes got me giggling and smiling like a fool, thank you for this, his notes with paps and sans are also really, really, wholesome. (Also pass 1 sounds fun!)
extreme excitement when thinking on romancing the hell out of Paps. just something about puns is so attractive for some reason honestly. I admit my sense of direction is awful that I was running in circles in the two areas that had the character going in different directions. but it only made me more determined to keep pushing forward.
there was a thrill to searching for the notes while on the side hardcore romancing Paps [and later Sans when playing a second time through]. I restarted quite a few times due to missing items, and questioning where one would earn a pretty coin to buy items [which when did learn it was truly satisfying].
I also enjoyed the random bits with Gaster popping up, and just had a dark lil thrill going against what was asked [and flipping the screen when my desire to go against the order was useless] I got caught at the lab as I did not know about the patience of waiting a bit longer.
utterly caught off from Gaster's voice or well his humming. truly alluring with the voice actor that I ended up a second time with the ending before going to the walkthrough to find the answer.
from there I enjoyed the rest of the game and romanced both the skeelton brothers [excluding Gaster, as Siren Call Gaster got in my head seeing him as a guardian figure rip] also the surprise in the lab was such an interesting bit and just truly a good shock for what is discovered.
once completed I enjoyed reading the lil drabbles, a tasty and lovely bonus

did you drop the notes? if you did, that's practically a game-ender. try not to drop the notes, at all costs. be sure to collect all notes as well! if you're at the point where you "don't get a choice" to keep the notes, wait for 16 seconds! there's also a general walkthrough available if you need more help. hope this helps!
It's beautiful......All of your games are the best and the sweetest and encouraging stories. The ending was just so heartfelt and the music, so calm and majestic, I loved every part of Underswap. Thank you so much for this masterpiece.
howdy-doo, back yet again. My summer's almost ending and what a real comfort it is for me to see in my notifs that you've completed Underswap!
I'll be trying the other routes at some point, but of course, I went for Sans first! But, first off, loved how you wrote the more minor characters. Cinnamon with the two other little bunnies had very distinct voices and personally a trio I'd love to hang around more, and notably in Snowdin, The Dog shop owner, after buying the stick, I accidentally pressed the 'Shop' option and was pleasantly surprised to see the sweet exchange between my Chara and them. I like that silly dog too. Can't forget about Persona, too and I'd let them pet my head for eternity if I could.
But, focusing on the main story, You've once again made me smile and my heart grip onto whatever organs near it-- I absolutely loved the subplot with Dion and was genuinely caught off guard by the soul scene in the lab (Non W.D route), but all I can say is. wow. that was short, but what a hell of a read !!!! (positive).
Then, Sans!! My scrunkly! LOVE his romance SO much, and I was so ecstatic to see his lieutenant side break at points, and ultimately leading to him being comfortable with us during the walk at the city :3 The flower exchange was super cute too! I genuinely had to walk away from my pc for that because I felt so giddy.
But, seriously, the way you write W.D? sends chills up my spine tbh, absolutely love it!! I honestly don't think I'll get over how you can write him to be so chill to absolutely INTIMIDATING in a few paragraphs (ESPECIALLY. WHEN PAIRED WITH PAPYRUS. looking at the bonus scene!!!).
That's all from me, but really! Amazing work once again!! I can't wait to play your other games when I'm free again :)

Sans- attracted to any soul as long as your bright (so choose all happy options)
Papyrus- multiple souls (the 2 I know for sure are determination and bravery)
Gaster- ONLY wise
Flowey- same with sans, any soul and you can date him

There's one thing similar between the Underfell and this one and it's that gaster is low-key a yandere (more so in this one lol)
Don't get me wrong I love this, but how (and why) is Underswap so much darker than Underfell 😭
I do like how it is darker since it would be assumed that Underswap would be much brighter (ig?). It's a neat twist :)
For some reason I can't romance Flowey? I followed the romance walkthrough exactly but I can't choose him when talking to Aaron :(

YELLO! U can use any soul trait, but I always use Yellow or Justice :)
